VITEEE evaluates the understanding of candidates majorly on Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. The exam also validates the candidate’s proficiency in English and aptitude skills to churn out the deserving engineering career aspirants. Candidates qualifying the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) are granted admission to B. Tech. programs offered by VIT at Vellore, Chennai, Andhra Pradesh, and Bhopal campuses based on their VITEEE ranking and availability of seats during counselling.

- Age: Candidates must be born on or after 1st July 1998.
- Academics: Candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in class XII examination from a recognized board. NIOS students can also apply.
